Alex Albon 2026 Singapore GP F1 replica helmet
The Alex Albon 2026 Singapore GP F1 replica helmet is a full-size 1:1 display and collector replica of the durian design Alex Albon revealed on Instagram ahead of the 2026 Singapore Grand Prix at Marina Bay. His caption was a single line — “Keeping the visor closed this weekend” — a joke that only lands once you have seen the helmet.
The whole shell is painted as the skin of a durian, the spiky fruit known across South-East Asia for its strong smell. Faceted green spikes in light and dark tones cover every panel, each one drawn as a small pyramid with its own highlight and shadow, so the surface reads as a field of thorns in photographs while the paint itself stays glossy. On the crown, the fruit’s stem is painted in, so the top of the helmet becomes the top of the durian.
The jokes continue in the details. A yellow price label reading “猫山王 MAO SHAN WANG $23/kg” — Mao Shan Wang is a durian variety — sits on the side as if the helmet had been tagged at a market stall, next to an “SGP2026” sticker with a drawing of Marina Bay Sands. They are part of the design, not afterthoughts.
The partner layout follows the Williams season. Atlassian appears on the sides and on the brow, Komatsu fills a blue panel on the crown, Barclays and Duracell run along the visor strip, and Kraken and Claude sit on the chin, with Monsoon Valley, New Era, Wilkinson Sword and Estrella Galicia 0,0 around them. The visor is a blue iridescent mirror, all on the Bell shell profile seen at the reveal.
As a full-size 1:1 replica, this helmet is a display and collection object — a shelf, cabinet or desk centrepiece for an Albon or Williams collection, and a keepsake of the 2026 Singapore Grand Prix. Its interest is entirely visual: the faceted texture, the stem on the crown, the market-stall stickers, proportions and display presence.
The photo set leans into the fruit’s reputation. Albon poses in a matching durian-print shirt beside a black “No Durians” sign, pinches his nose in one shot and crosses his arms in an X in another, while two photos place the helmet among real durians on a fruit stall under a handwritten price sign. Few helmets arrive with their own punchline; this one does.
There is a regional thread too. Albon races under the Thai flag, and his caption carries a second line in Thai. The durian is a fruit of the region, which ties the design to the part of the calendar the Singapore race belongs to rather than to a single corner or landmark. That is what makes it a one-weekend helmet, and what makes it collectable.
Up close, the design depends on contrast. Darker green outlines separate each spike from its neighbour, and lighter faces catch the light, so the pattern keeps its relief from a distance and at arm’s length. The yellow label and the white sticker are the only warm notes on the shell, which is why they stand out at once.
For display, a green gloss helmet with this much texture works best under soft, even light rather than a single hard spot, which would flatten the facets. A neutral background — a plain shelf or a dark cabinet — keeps the green from competing with anything behind it. As a full-size 1:1 piece, it sits at the same scale as the rest of a collection, next to the Williams helmets of earlier eras.
It is the first Alex Albon helmet in the catalogue, and the newest design in its Williams section, which until now has gathered heritage helmets from the team’s past, from Keke Rosberg’s 1982 helmet to Jacques Villeneuve’s of 1997. A current Williams driver now sits next to them, in green.
The replica reproduces the livery and design shown at the reveal, at real size. Visor and interior options are chosen on this page before ordering, with the same configurator as the rest of the catalogue.
This design is offered as a pre-order. Because it is a just-revealed helmet, the photographs show the original racing helmet for reference; your replica is produced to reproduce that livery and design, and is made to order following your purchase.
