Oscar Piastri 2026 Singapore GP F1 replica helmet
The Oscar Piastri 2026 Singapore GP F1 replica helmet is a full-size 1:1 display and collector replica of the design Oscar Piastri brought to the 2026 Singapore Grand Prix at Marina Bay. McLaren presented it on 8 October 2026 as “something special for Singapore”, with a photo of Piastri holding it in front of the Singapore Flyer at dusk.
Its story is local. In a reel published with Android, the original helmet is introduced as a design that connects racing culture with centuries of Peranakan tradition, featuring beadwork made by hand in Singapore. The reel was filmed at the Peranakan Museum in Singapore, where Piastri is handed the finished helmet.
The base is a bright turquoise. In the close-ups of the original, the whole surface shows a fine texture of tiny beads set in rows, so the colour reads as a grain rather than a flat coat, the way beaded textiles do.
On the side, a large phoenix in red, orange and yellow spreads its wings and long tail across the shell. It is the centrepiece of the design and the part that is easiest to recognise from across a room.
Around it, pink peony-style flowers, small blue flowers and green leaves are scattered over the shell, and copper-orange outlines frame the panels, which gives the floral pattern a clear structure instead of an all-over print.
Personal touches complete it. “Oscar” is written in gold script on the lower side, near the chin, his OP logo sits at the rear, and Android lettering with the robot logo runs across the chin. A small Android robot also hides inside a pink flower on the top.
The partner layout is the McLaren set: Monster Energy on a black panel across the top, OKX on the forehead, McLaren and DP World on the visor strips, with Mastercard, Dropbox, Quad Lock and Etihad. The visor is dark with a copper, rose-gold mirrored reflection, all on the Bell shell profile seen at the reveal.
As a full-size 1:1 replica, this helmet is a display and collection object — a centrepiece for a shelf, cabinet or desk in a Piastri or McLaren collection, and a keepsake of the 2026 Singapore Grand Prix. Its interest is entirely visual: the turquoise ground, the phoenix, the peonies, the gold name, proportions and display presence.
It also pairs naturally with Piastri’s other helmets in the catalogue, his 2025 Australian GP and 2025 Austin GP designs. One belongs to his home race, one to an American weekend, and this one to the host city of a night race; side by side they show how a driver’s look changes from one event to the next.
The reveal shows it in two settings: outdoors at dusk, with the Singapore Flyer behind, and in a dark studio, where the turquoise and the gold lettering stand out against a black background. Team-mate Lando Norris can be seen walking past in the outdoor photo.
For collectors, a design tied to the culture of the host city is a different kind of special from a sponsor livery or a home-race design. It records something about the place and the weekend, which is part of what makes a one-off helmet worth keeping on a shelf.
For display, the many small details reward a well-lit spot. A small light from the side, or the light inside a cabinet, brings out the colours of the phoenix and the peonies, while a dark background keeps the turquoise vivid, as in the studio images of the reveal.
The reel’s titles call it “The Reveal — Part I”. What follows has not been announced, so the Singapore weekend is the confirmed outing for now.
The Singapore Grand Prix is round 17 of the 23 rounds of the 2026 season, held on the Marina Bay Street Circuit, with the race on Sunday 11 October 2026. It is the weekend this design was made for, and the one McLaren named in its post.
The replica reproduces the livery and design shown at the reveal, at real size. Visor and interior options are chosen on this page before ordering, with the same configurator as the rest of the catalogue.
The original helmet is decorated with around 350,000 glass beads, sewn by hand by Peranakan artists, as Android’s behind-the-scenes video shows. The replica does not reproduce that beadwork: its pattern and colours are painted, with no beads and no stitching.
This design is offered as a pre-order. Because it is a just-revealed helmet, the photographs show the original racing helmet for reference; your replica is produced to reproduce that livery and design, and is made to order following your purchase.
