Sergio Pérez 2026 Mexico City GP 300th GP F1 replica helmet
The Sergio Pérez 2026 Mexico City GP 300th GP F1 replica helmet is a full-size 1:1 display and collector replica of Sergio Pérez’s helmet for the 2026 Mexico City Grand Prix, his 300th Grand Prix. Cadillac revealed it on 27 October 2026, first in two photos of Pérez on stage, smiling and holding the helmet in both hands, under the caption “A historic milestone on home ground. Checo unveils his custom helmet as he lines up for his 300th Grand Prix 🙌”, then in six studio photos posted by the Cadillac Formula 1 Team (@cadillacf1) with a short caption: “Every angle, just for you 🤲”.
Pérez presented it himself the same day, in a video posted on Instagram from his account (@schecoperez) together with Cadillac. His caption is written in Spanish; translated from Spanish, it opens: “A very special helmet for a very special weekend. My 300th Formula 1 race, here at home, in Mexico. There’s nothing more special than that!”
He then explains where the design comes from (translated from Spanish): “I really enjoyed working with GM on this design, bringing Mexico and Detroit together through their culture, history and passion for the automotive world. I was inspired by Diego Rivera’s iconic work ‘Quetzalcóatl’, the Aztec calendar and Detroit’s automotive tradition.” Those are the three inspirations he names. Neither he nor Cadillac says which motif on the shell comes from which, so this page does not assign them either.
The base is a glossy white, and silver and grey Mesoamerican-style patterns run over the whole shell: stepped frets, spirals, geometric bands, and stylised faces and figures. Some are in matte silver and some in chrome silver, and thin chrome-silver stripes outline the panels. Against the white, the two finishes of silver give the patterns their depth.
The number 300 is the centrepiece of the design. It is painted large, in silver numerals, on both sides of the helmet behind the visor, and the digits themselves are filled with the same patterns as the rest of the shell: the milestone is part of the artwork rather than a number added on top.
On one side, towards the back, a large stylised creature head in silver shows an open jaw, bared teeth and spirals — one of the boldest details of the helmet. A stylised, mask-like motif in silver sits on the chin area, where there is also a clear chin piece.
The top carries the TWG wordmark and a black geometric diamond-shaped logo, surrounded by black geometric blocks that fade out in airbrushed gradients. Further back, a band in the colours of the Mexican flag crosses the top — green, white and red, with the national coat of arms on the white — edged with a red line and a chrome stripe. Four clear, fin-like aero pieces sit on the top, and small round mesh vents appear at the top and on the sides.
At the front, the Cadillac crest in black and white sits above the visor, and a large CADILLAC wordmark runs along the upper side. The visor strip reads “CADILLAC FORMULA 1 TEAM” in black on white, with the Jim Beam and Tommy Hilfiger logos at the end of the strip, near the visor pivot. The visor in the photos is a blue mirror; on the replica, visor options are chosen in the configurator on this page.
The partner logos are laid out around the patterns. On one side, Nescafé, Banamex and FRONTIERAS sit on the lower side next to the 300; on the other, KitKat, telcel and TWG AI. The back carries Tapalpa at the top, the TWG Motorsports and gm logos side by side and a “NEVER GIVE UP” badge, with a silver panel at the lower back carrying Luuna, then amply and a small moustache logo reading “mad56”.
The six images are Cadillac’s studio photos of Sergio Pérez’s own helmet, on a white background — the original racing helmet, shown here for reference. They show the helmet in a three-quarter front view; the top seen from above, with the Mexican flag towards the back; a close-up of the side behind the visor, with the silver 300; the back; a close-up of the side towards the back, with the silver creature head; and a close-up of the pattern bands on the top and side.
As a full-size 1:1 replica, this helmet is a display and collection object — a shelf, cabinet or desk centrepiece for a Pérez or Cadillac collection, and a keepsake of his 300th Grand Prix, at home in Mexico City. Its interest is entirely visual: the glossy white base, the matte and chrome silver patterns, the 300 on both sides, the creature head, the Mexican flag band, its proportions and its display presence.
It is also the first Sergio Pérez helmet in the 123Helmets catalogue, and the first Cadillac helmet: until this pre-order, the catalogue had neither. For collectors, a milestone helmet is a different kind of special from a season helmet — the number is painted into the shell, and the design was made for a home race. Cadillac presents it as the custom helmet Pérez unveiled for his 300th Grand Prix and does not say whether it will appear again.
For display, the glossy white base and the silver patterns work well against a darker background, with a soft light from the side to pick out the chrome-silver stripes and the contrast between matte and chrome silver. Turned three-quarters from the front, the helmet shows the visor, the Cadillac crest and the 300 on the side at the same time.
The Mexico City Grand Prix is round 19 of the 2026 season, at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez in Mexico City, with the race on Sunday 1 November 2026. Pérez drives for Cadillac with the number 11, in the team’s first season in Formula 1. The replica reproduces the livery and design shown in the official photos, at real size; visor and interior options are chosen on this page before ordering, with the same configurator as the rest of the catalogue.
This design is offered as a pre-order. Because it is a just-revealed helmet, the photographs show the original racing helmet for reference; your replica is produced to reproduce that livery and design, and is made to order following your purchase.
