Kimi Antonelli 2026 Monza GP F1 replica helmet

The Kimi Antonelli 2026 Monza GP F1 replica helmet is a full-size 1:1 display/collector replica of the one-off design Andrea Kimi Antonelli revealed for the 2026 Italian Grand Prix — the Bologna-born Mercedes driver’s first home Grand Prix helmet at Monza, and one of the most densely detailed liveries of the season.

The shell is laid out as an Italian tricolore: green, white and red panels running across the crown, sides and rear, separated by gold pinstriping rather than hard edges. The Mercedes star sits above the visor opening on the white centre panel, with the PETRONAS band running across the visor strip and the nu mark on the chin.

The rear of the shell carries the design’s centrepiece. Two cartoon figures stand with their arms around each other: one wears a tricolore helmet with the Mercedes star, the other the yellow and blue livery and the number 46 that Valentino Rossi raced under. Above them, Antonelli’s race number 12 is drawn in the rounded, hand-lettered numeral style associated with Rossi’s own helmets, and the Bell logo beneath carries the Drudi Performance signature — the studio that shaped Rossi’s helmet artwork across his career.

Around that artwork, the red and green panels carry grids of small square pictogram tiles picturing everyday Italian scenes: an espresso cup, a slice of pizza, a straw-wrapped wine flask, a steaming bowl of pasta, a sun, a stretch of sea, moustachioed faces, a family. The tile-based storytelling is the studio’s long-running device; here the subject is Italy itself, which is what ties the artwork to the Monza weekend.

Partner marks — CrowdStrike, Signify, AKKODIS, adidas, WhatsApp, SOLERA and G42 — are worked into the panel structure rather than laid over it, so the tricolore reads cleanly from a distance while the tiles and the cartoon reward close inspection.

Reproduced at full size, the tricolore panel breaks, the gold pinstriping, the number 12 in its Rossi lettering, the embracing figures and the pictogram grids all hold their detail — a design that shows something different from every angle rather than repeating one graphic around the shell.

As a full-size 1:1 replica, this helmet is a display and collection object — a shelf, cabinet or desk centrepiece for an Antonelli or Mercedes collection, and a keepsake of the 2026 Italian Grand Prix and of a home-race design by one of the sport’s youngest drivers. Its focus is entirely visual: finish, colourway, proportions and display presence.

This design is offered as a pre-order. Because it is a just-revealed helmet, the photographs show the original racing helmet for reference; your replica is produced to reproduce that livery and design, and is made to order following your purchase.

A home race in Monza

Andrea Kimi Antonelli was born in Bologna, less than an hour from Maranello, and Monza is the race he grew up attending. The Autodromo Nazionale has hosted the Italian Grand Prix since the championship’s first season, and a home-race helmet there carries a weight that a mid-season special does not. This is his first Monza design in a Mercedes.

The Valentino Rossi reference is not incidental either. Rossi is the rider most Italian drivers of Antonelli’s generation grew up watching, and Drudi Performance — the studio behind the artwork on this shell — shaped Rossi’s helmet identity across his career. Putting the two cartoon figures on the back of the helmet, rather than a portrait or a logo, is the studio’s own idiom: a small scene that tells you something about the driver rather than a badge.

The pictogram tiles work the same way. Rather than symbols from a racing career, they picture the ordinary Italy that surrounds the weekend — the coffee, the food, the sun and sea, the family. Ferrari’s tifosi own the reputation at Monza, but the tiles quietly stake a claim for a driver who is Italian in a way the grid rarely is.

Displaying this design

Few helmets change this much between angles. The front reads as a clean tricolore with the Mercedes star; the sides carry the pictogram grids; the rear holds the number 12 and the embracing figures. Displayed at a three-quarter angle, the tricolore panels and one tile grid stay visible at once, while a rear-facing position puts the Rossi artwork forward.

The gold pinstriping is what makes the piece work under indoor light: it separates the green, white and red without hard edges, so the shell keeps its shape on a shelf rather than flattening into three colour blocks.

FAQ

Common questions

Our helmets share the external dimensions of the original race helmet (~30 cm tall). A 1:4 mini replica is roughly 10 cm. The difference is visceral on display — three times the height, and a very different object to live with.
This design is a just-released pre-order — made to order, with an estimated 6–10 weeks from order confirmation to dispatch. Delivery typically adds 5 to 10 business days (FedEx, tracked).
You have the standard 14-day right of withdrawal under EU consumer law, starting the day your helmet is delivered.
